Private Pilot Licence (Aeroplane) - Training Scheme

About the Course

A Private Pilot Licence (PPL) is a Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (CAANZ) Part 61 recreational licence.

This licence allows you to fly yourself and your friends and family around New Zealand and enjoy the pleasure of flight.

The CAANZ issued PPL is an International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) recognised licence, so if you are an International Student, you can convert this licence and continue to use it when you return home, if your country is also ICAO accredited. You cannot receive any payment for your services on a PPL.

If you wish to do so, then you need to obtain a Commercial Pilots Licence.
