Have you ever thought about training to be a commercial pilot via the NZ Diploma in Aviation, but you don't meet the full academic entry criteria?
NAC is offering three scholarships to students who meet all the standard minimum entry criteria other than the academic qualifications - Maybe you left school prior to our entry criteria changing, or maybe you do not have NCEA Level 3 for valid reason?
Each scholarship is valued at $4,500 and is to cover the cost of the Private Pilot Licence theory course only. Exams and required books and equipment are not included. We offer this theory course annually in February, May and August.
The three scholarships will be awarded to a:
• New Zealand Citizen living in New Zealand
• New Zealand Māori student living in New Zealand
• Pacific Island student living in New Zealand
If you are interested in applying for one of these three scholarships, please send your full application to enquiries@nelsonaviation.nz along with details about why you should be awarded a scholarship (300 - 500 words) prior to the relevant PPL theory course.
